I respect your opinion, but I couldn't disagree more. Elden ring feels smoother in the hands, has a jump button, has way more attacks, builds, weapons, variety, ect. Lies of P is amazing, but there's a reason they completely copied the from software handbook

Eh yeah I think elden rings setting is pretty boring and overrated in my opinion. Especially if you are not into dark fantasy. Lies of p has a more interesting world to me by leaps and bounds but again I have never really been impressed with Elden rings setting to begin with.

Much more interesting setting is crazy. You're entitled to your opinion, but Elden ring is known for having one of the most incredible settings ever, its what shot that game into the stars. Also it sounds like you just prefer your souls games linear as apposed to open world.

As far as expectations for game length, I feel like the crew is missing the fact that a lot of consumers judge the value of a game by its length. Hence all this bloat. Already seeing complaints about MH Wilds being shorter than its predecessors
