120fps is the perfect sweet spot for me, after experiencing it I tend to find it bothersome when playing anything with lower than 90fps. If I play only 60fps games for a while I reacclimatize to it, but when jumping back to 120fps+ the choppiness of 60fps becomes quite noticeable. That said, 60fps should really be the baseline for video games, anything lower is just awful and can really hurt the experience from both a visual and gameplay perspective

2024-10-30 14:02:32 +0000 UTCregarding console reservations, i reserved the og xbox for launch day at kaybee toys, and they required a 3 game extra controller bundle. i actually ended up buying 7 games that day, and 3 extra controllers, and the dvd remote, all told i dropped like $1100-$1200 that morning, all cash. it's wild to think how much a part time min. wage fast food job could afford you in 2001.

2024-10-28 05:01:55 +0000 UTCI found Colin's comment about the US being the country with highest per capita users of physical games due to "per capita income" pretty strange, and was happy to hear Dustin interject about the difference in physical Vs digital pricing in Japan, to give another perspective Tbh I'd no idea there was this idea that digital games were cheaper in the US. In Ireland you'll basically always get a game cheaper if you buy it physically - 1st party games here are €80 and most others are €70 unless they're smaller scale, but I'd almost always be able to get them at least €10 cheaper if I was to buy physical. I get the vast majority of my games digital nowadays, but the odd time I'll get a game if it's a physical copy I'd like to own

2024-10-26 16:26:43 +0000 UTCI rawdogged the original Persona 5 and followed a guide for P5: The Royal and it felt like I played the original game the wrong way, I missed loads of interactions, social link bonuses and moves because I misunderstood how to maximise my time. It’s not an ideal way to first time experience a game but if you want to see everything the game has to offer I understand playing it this way.

I absolutely loved the first season, and then started reading the manga because they hadn't made any other seasons yet and I never read manga. But the further they got from the original concept, the more I disliked it and eventually I just stopped.

Calling it just an anime does it some disservice a little bit. It’s topped Breaking Bad as my favorite show of all time. It’s phenomenal. Watch it. Dont keep saying “eh I’ll get around to it.” It’s must watch television as far as I’m concerned. Don’t look anything up, there are mind blowing twists and turns and you will absolutely get spoiled if not careful. It’s one of those shows where I wish I could erase my memories and watch it all over again for the first time. Trust, it’s that good and it’s right up your alley.
