I live in the most southern part of Orange County in San Clemente and commute to Irvine every day. The project I’m at right now is literally across the street from Blizzard HQ. Most of my friends commute to Irvine since that’s where most of the commercial space is.

Where I live is honestly the best of both worlds. It's rural where I live but I can be in Spokane in under 30 minutes. Only downside is the okay internet and lack of food delivery. On another note, I love Spokane. It has some great wineries, craft breweries, and restaurants. And dare I say, great pizza. (keep in mind, I've never been to NYC, Chicago, New Haven, Jersey City, or Detroit) Spokane doesn't have as much variety as other cities but it's turning into a foodie town! In closing, I refuse to believe that there's a city that has zero good food. I apologize for my long-winded comment.

Had to deal with 3 hours of traffic the ride home, but it was worth it to see eclipse totality. The difference between near full eclipse and full is PS2 to PS5 level difference. It was the most serene sight I ever seen. And for reference. It's safe to look at a full eclipse/totality with he naked eye. It's not safe to stare up at a near eclipse because you're still staring at the sun.
