Hey Dukeheads Do you think it’s a little overstated how much the casual gaming audience cares about their digital libraries? Phil believes last gen was the worst to lose, but I know from firsthand experience that most casual gamers only play whatever is new. The next madden, cod, etc. — My father in law, nieces and nephews could give a shit about games that are a year+ old. More often than not when they get a new console they don’t even sign back into their account they just create a new one from scratch. Idk, I think Phil’s comments on this seem a bit dramatic. “We’ll never out-console Sony”. Imagine if Nintendo said that during the Wii U era. Create better games that appeal to a wider audience, hire a better marketing team, and stop with the defeatist attitude!
