Here's the latest new regarding our computer issue. The manufacturer will honor the rig's warranty. The rough part was negotiating the replacement parts. For the longest time they were proposing to use older parts. They also tried to pull a fast one by replacing the video cards with a model less suitable and optimal for rendering. Needless to say, we would not have any of that and got our way.
Where does this put us? Assuming the manufacturer gets the replacement rig completed and back to us in 14 business days, we are looking at releasing the latest chapter by end of February. Of course this will depend on the state of the data stored in the hard drive. All initial tests show that it is good and unharmed. However, if the files were corrupted, it can set us back big time.
The team has decided to suspend subscription payments in the short term. This will take effect on 1 January 2022. As long as we are not able to work on the game, we will implement this policy. We will update you when we decide to resume taking payments again.
Don't get the wrong idea though. We are committed and still working. In fact, Pablo3000 has been finalizing the latest story boards for BoB. He also finished brewing a side project that we plan on publishing between BoB releases. Many of you are already aware of it since he has shared the concept on our Discord page. Still, we will provide more details during our January update.
Enjoy the rest of your holidays! See you all in the new year.
