I'm back, updates will return, starting now.

Alright, it's been three weeks since I posted the reason for my delays and, honestly, things just keept happening.

It had been my intention to post something that same week but, the next day, I received another bad news, and shit just... keept happening.

I'm really sorry, but I really couldn't write before now, both because I lacked time and because of my own mind. I also ended up getting fired from my job and had to start taking medication again, so I had a VERY crappy month.

Looking at the page, a lot more people stuck around than I though, I'm really thankfull for it and the updates will return to one chapter a week for Supergirl and Will of The Force starting now.

I also want to thank everyone who stuck around, you guys don't know how much I appreciate that.

Really, that's about what I had to say here, but if you guys want an update on things you can continue on.

It's not exactly nice, or necessary, reading, but since you guys stuck around...

Update:

Well, my brother is... fine, he's not exactly healthy yet, and nobody trusts him with his own meds anymore, so we're having to keep them for him, but he's recovering.

He had swallowed a lot of medication, enough that there was a real chance he wouldn't make it, but they managed to flush his stomach in time and he's been home for a while now.

Unfortunately, his atempt did have consequences, more than just the fact he worried the entire family and forced us to watch his medication.

Meds have side effects and, while I don't really understand everything, he's going through several of them right now, some better, some worse, but they include inability to sleep, hearing a noise in his head, shaking... amongs other things.

Really, DON'T DO THAT, it doesn't make anything better or easier for anyone no matter the result.

When my brother did that, my Grandmother kinda collapsed, she had been a little sickly for a month or so before that, but nothing that worrisome. With her collapsing, we took her to the doctors as well.

Well, turns out she hadn't only collapsed because of what he did and her sickness wasn't little.

The day after I posted an update, an exam returned and we found out she had Cancer and it had already spread basically everywhere. She stayed in the hospital as well for a week or so, but they eventually sent her back home.

I knew people who had that disease that lasted years, both old and young, they had mostly normal lives for three, even four years before... I guess my Grandmother had already lived those years before we discovered she was sick because she didn't last long.

In fact, I was gonna post a new chapter of Will of the Force earlier today when I received the notice she died.

I also lost my job, which, if I'm being honest, sucked a lot, but more because I had never been fired before, not because I actually liked what I was doing.

Really, I'm finishing college in a few months, I was gonna be changing jobs soon anyway and, despite the medical emergencies, I do have a small amount of money on the bank, enough to find a new one.

Anyway, despite everything, I feel like I finally got my head back in place, the words are flowing again and I'm mostly back to being... myself, so the updates are back, I hope you guys enjoy them.

Good grief, when things go wrong, it all happens at once. Sorry to hear about your brother, glad to hear he’s getting better- but I can understand how disconcerting it is to see someone you known for a lifetime take such a turn. Respect to your gran, she must be as tough as nails for her condition to pass unnoticed until now. All the best regarding university and jobs, its prosaic stuff, but it’s the prosaic stuff that keeps body and soul together. Hopefully now that you have some more time again writing can be a source of strength.

So sorry to hear about your troubles mate. Glad to hear your brother is on the road to recovery and my deep condolences for your loss. I wish you the best of luck with the remaining months you have with college. Losing a job is never a fun experience but I hope you find something much better than a lousy job you didn’t enjoy.
