AHA! (Animation Test)
Added 2024-12-15 19:47:43 +0000 UTCI tried to animate in Procreate! which made me wonder how do people animate in Procreate alone,,
something that I found a bit annoying was how the group layer selection window kept popping up automatically every time I switched frames, and I had to manually reselect the correct layer I was working on every single time
and the onion skin was just kinda confusing lol
I know Procreate released the Dreams app specifically for animation, but I've heard mixed reviews about it so,, I'm not sure if it’s worth trying yet
still this was a fun little experiment!

AMAZING WORK AS ALWAYS!!! :]] I have been using procreate for years and have the exact same complain about the layers popping up sjsjsnsj it really messes with the work flow. I just got used to selecting the layer right after switching frames. About procreate dreams: genuinely the weirdest programs I have ever used, it's suppposed to work as editing and animation software but it does neither well. it's very limited and has a lot of missing features (like a lasso tool). it's fun to use for camera movements and subtle effects but it's nothing any regular editing software can't do. Also it's feels horrible to draw on ahzhbwjs It's not the worst program in the world, but I personally wouldn’t recommend it to anyone considering you have to pay money for it. but if you want to try it out anyways, go for it! it's kinda nice to have if you animate a lot on procreate!! I use it a lot, but I have been highly considering switching to toonsquid due to my previous complains lol

2024-12-18 21:29:02 +0000 UTCThank you so much!! that means a lot coming from someone with so much experience animating in Procreate xD and yess!! from what I've seen the parallax animations and camera movement features in Procreate Dreams look super promising, it's a shame that drawing in it seems to be such a struggle sobs I'm also still getting the hang of it, I still struggle a bit with coloring haha

2024-12-16 19:28:21 +0000 UTCOmg this looks so good!!11!1 I 've been animating with procreate for like 3 years now hehehe its nice to see my favourite animator using the same program ₍^. ̫.^₎ Edit : procreate dreams is nice :] although it's still a bit hard to navigate,, like it's missing some features too rip i'd recommend animating on procreat and use procreate dreams for editing/camera movements x'D drawing on there is the most PAINFUL thinggg womp womp
