While we all wait for Alpha 0.02, I thought I'd share a bit about me, and how I work (I love to see artist's workplace pics... hey, I could have much worse interests, and you know it)
This is my room/studio (matress is on the floor, with a map of the world in B/W over it, 3 wild animal silhouettes painted on wood, and a Joy Division poster, even though I'm currently listening to Thomas Vent... go figure)
Here's where I have designed, writen, sketched, inked and painted most of the game. There was that one time sketching sex scenes on the train with an old lady scoffing behind me, and I sometimes go grab a coffee and write on paper when I can't stand it anymore, but most of my waking -and incidentally asleep- hours are spent here. Most days it's 8-12 hours, 6-7 days a week. More hours even when deadlines for a job close in. Especially since Ben X also has those!
Understandably, once in a while I HAVE to do stuff like spending 4 days backpacking on my lonesome in Canada, surrounded only by trees, snow, wolves and bears. I mean, who in his right mind wouldn't?
But I complain too much, really. I mean, my wacom Cintiq does most of the job anyway. I just go to Photoshop, Image, Compose, Sex scene animation, and I watch Cowboy Bebop while it gets done, right? Seriously. And I want to get paid for that? They should send us all to work at a fucking MINE, for fuck's sake.
