Post v0.12 Status Update

Hey everyone! v0.12.4 seems to be working smoothly, so we are shifting development back to v0.13 and beyond!

On the programming side, Noba is working hard to make a functioning cellphone for the player. This will let the player text characters, change the wallpaper, obtain hints on where to go next and check their stats, such as Money and Cafe Rank. He also has a prototype for the coffee-making minigame that works! We are waiting for the assets to be drawn for that, then we will polish and perfect.

On the art side, Kokman has sketches for the last lewd scenes and special images of Episode 6. After he finishes that, I have some polishing for him to do, and then we'll move on to Episode 7.

There are no updates on animation.

On the writing side, I am working on Episode 7. Episode 6 is 95% written, other than text messages and one lewd scene. But I am passionate about the story of 7, so I am going where my heart demands. Today, I wrote over 3k words for Episode 7; it was about Robbie, who has a huge focus in this episode. This brings the total word count for Episode 7 to exactly 5k, and the total game word count to...

121,377 words

Which is honestly pretty insane??? I think that is longer than any of my novels, which is wild.

On a personal note, I've been going through some stuff that is affecting my output. Last month, one of my cats got very sick, so I was in and out of the vet with him all month. It got really bad towards the end of October, but thankfully, his new medicine is helping effectively. I just need to cuddle him and coerce him to let me squirt a syringe of medicine in his mouth three times a day. I was honestly in a rut, and it was hard to be creative. I hope to get back on the horse for November and get more done!
