Watched and read this back in 2013, i would have been 9, and petras death is STILL burned into my brain. The scene where her chin is flat up against the tree haunts me 😭

2025-07-20 22:02:17 +0000 UTCWhat I’m realizing too is like. Erin missed most of the fight before. He was killed almost immediately and then came back and ended it all in titan form. Him being all “what you must be joking” about their friends death. And then again him being in shock when the female titan kills the first person of the core group here around 24 minutes. In a weird way he’s behind his classmates cuz they’ve all faced this loss and chaos and gore before. My first time watching - I often rewatch these eps at least once so I can follow.
