I feel you. Outside of splints and bandaging (which Spider-Man already does with his webs) it doesn’t seem very practical to have to manoeuvre an arm or a leg around with an arm that already works.

2025-11-15 14:18:52 +0000 UTCcan we talk about the fact that Shigaraki's hands are HAND-DRAWN instead of CGI this episode? or how Midoriya is holding his own while being fatigued against the weapon that brought Best Jeanist, Bakugo, Edgeshot, Mirko, Mirio, Amajiki, and Nejire to their knees even though they were all fighting WITH the advantage of Eraserhead's quirk and Midoriya ISN'T? or the detail where everytime we hear Deku's thoughts, time slows wayyyyyyyyy down, but when we're watching him fight from an outside perspective bro is moving faster than the speed of light? and the animation on him from those outside perspectives? I admit I was a bit underwhelmed on my first watch of the episode compared to all the others before it, but after a quick rewatch, I realized this episode felt like a way to show how Midoriya's style of heroism is different from All Might's, but not in a bad way. Kaminari's insight (go king) pointed that out and I really liked it,, All Might made everyone feel safe/sheltered via a general connection to everyone, which was what they needed at the time, but Midoriya makes people want to be heroic in their own ways via one-on-one/personal connections, which is what they need NOW. In order to do that, I understand they needed to show us his inner dialogue which was going to slow things down a bit, so I was glad they still took the time to show those brief action sequences. Not as much crazy animation here as the other episodes, but still a good amount, and Midoriya is shining in more ways than just his action sequences- his character and devotion in trying to save Tenko, his appreciation for OFA and the opportunities it's given him, his influence on those around him, and his inherent goodness. what an MC, I cannot WAIT to see what we get tomorrow

Any front facing punch could look very similar but just the facial expressions and whatnot looked alike
