2025-10-31 02:37:29 +0000 UTCthis show is so peak... and its scary how close this show hits home cause i literally listened to an interview of Dr. Roman Yampolskiy whos a professor at university of louisville and researched AI for a long time and now acts to propagate ethics and he genuinely talked about damn near everything that happened in this show, he focuses on superintelligence but he even mentioned UI and talked about how a superintelligence could create viruses... and the pace of technological advancement... this show released just as all of this AI stuff was getting attention from the public in the first place next episode is even more peak - but tbh Pantheon is an optimistic version of how this goes, partially because they assume upload works completely

Why didn't they work more on that instead of immediately jumping to ditching human bodies altogether? Could've did some brain chip, memory download thing with that. I know the show is more about UI and CI, but goddamn did they jump right in the deep end.

Maybe it's because I like the drama, but I really think that Mist's emotions is being understated. She's a CI, her basis for emotion could be completely foreign but at the same time totally understandable. Like that's CRAZY.
