This story really showcases the importance of relationships in friends and love and also loving and fighting for yourself. As someone who’s always been the Rintaro in the group I love how strongly yall rep for him knowing that he’s overall a good person and like yall said that he’s valid to have boundaries and that he isn’t doing anything wrong. He just likes his privacy because of past experiences so like sheera said he loves his friends at the end of the day when he’s ready to open up to them he will 💖

His friends said thats just who he is, so they didnt really care alot, except for Saku, since it seems like he thinks him and Rintaro are pretty close. That might be why he feels so hurt about it, even though rintaro technically didnt do anything wrong

You gotta keep in mind that this is his first time having friends he doesn’t know how any of this crap is supposed to work. So him sharing feelings about a girl that he’s probably never had feelings for a girl before. Of course he’s not gonna wanna say anything. He doesn’t know what’s going on. He’s trying to figure it out himself. So I feel like to a certain point his friends do understand that, but I do get that. They also want more from him, which is very natural for people who have had friends before, but again he’s never had friends before.
