I figured the cat died. I think it could have been the same cat and kosei was just wrong about it being a girl because he was a little kid and it was a kitten. He probably just assumed it was a girl named it Chelsea but it was a boy the whole time. That cat was too familiar with him.

2025-10-06 04:33:43 +0000 UTCI think it's more like, she likes Watari for physical stuff and got close to him while still able (look she's about to die, I'm sure she wanted to experience it once despite her age, as in it already happened by now if I had to guess), but really viewed Kousei as a true emotional connection and a way to live vicariously through him to achieve her own dreams at the end without hurting him. When a person has that little left, I think priorities are shifted a lot π
