Imagine having to wait many months during the manga release to find out the Akira situation. That was also when the creator was starting to take longer to release chapters so it really was dragging. It ended up being one of those situations that felt like it went on too long, but after going back and reading the finished chapters it flowed much better.

Which I find kinda interesting because I can’t name any other Series that had 3 different age groups of young ppl just hanging out enjoying the same hobby. Kinda wild
