Only found out after i watched the show the first time, but the Guy that's with Cass in these last episodes. Is the same guy he escaped the prison from. Where they got caught in that slime web trying to steal a ship off the planet 34:36 The women beside Mon's husband is the mother to Mon's son in-law It was cut from the show, but the ultra rich guy Mon hated who married his son to her daughter actually ended up one of her biggest supporter. Doing the speech in the senate the ISB ALSO wanted to cut off the broadcast from the HQ of the news network which he owns and HE REJECTED IT. Had he done as they told him the senate speech would not have been shown to the galaxy Also it was cut that Mon's husband knew what she were doing all along and just wanted her to trust him with the secret so he could help. She never did

You guys didn't understand the scenes with his mom because you talked over the dialogue 😂

This is the greatest Star Wars show and honestly one of the best shows I've seen in decades. It's so perfect. When it first came out anyone who said it 'was slow" or "not Star Wars" were basically only those who watched Star Wars for the light saber wizards(understandable, but that's almost spoiled for me in comparison after seeing how great this show was.) This show is what building a real rebellion against fascism takes. From the different groups of "rebels' fighting like children when ideally they are all fighting for the same thing(in some ways) but they lost the plot. There are so many parallels to real life and what's going on it's crazy that a show like this was allowed to be written and shown anywhere(much less Disney.) Gilroy studied actual rebellions throughout history and he was brilliant putting it all on screen like this

I kinda disagree. I’m a casual Star Wars enjoyer. I haven’t watched all the films, series, or animation. I think this is a great show for casual viewers. I agree that you’ll get more additional context if you’ve watched everything but everything you need to enjoy the show was present.

Gonna need that star wars the clone wars reaction. Everyone wins, Roshi gets jedi action, Lupa gets politics, and Sheera gets to wonder who's gonna die every second lol. But it was amazing to see yall watch And....or. Onto the next show!

Syril is a brilliant tragic character. He wanted to be a good guy, wanted to better lives and make the galaxy a safer place. Unfortunately he was on the empire's side, and he wasn't clever enough or bold enough to see through the lies fed to him his whole life. He never thought to meaningfully question the empire's actions, since he had bought into it so profoundly. Once he did figure out the lies and betrayal, it was already too late. When Andor asks him "Who are you?" he understands that he was unknown to his rival, and he has an identity crisis. He doesn't know who he is. The foundation of his world view has collapsed. He lived and died failing to achieve a single dream. The sad thing is, we saw many times, where he could've been redeemed. If the circumstances were at all different, he would've been on the rebellion side. People are constantly dying on that side as well, but there they "make it worth it", as it was often said by the rebels in the show. The scenes of him eating cereal with his mom are there to give characterization. We are shown what his childhood was like, what relationships does he have and all in all, what a normal person living in the empire is like. That's just what he was. A normal guy. Not a cackling super villain or a bumbling fodder soldier. He is like the other countless millions, who exist and live normal lives under the tyrannical rule of the emperor, with out seeing the boot pushing them down. Also, on a lighter note, I think those scenes were funny. Him being patronized and emasculated by his mom made me laugh.
