The detective seemed like she had a death-wish. It was sad to see, she just wanted to rile up the vampires to make them want to go and kill her. I understand Nazuna's perspective completely, that she kinda knew but still didn't want to believe that the detective going around hunting vampires was her friend, because she wished for her to be living a happy life somewhere... but the detective had not been able to overcome the tragedy of her parents' deaths. I guess the term is "spiraling," the detective has been spiraling for 10 years now and she has been hunting vampires even good ones for no good reason. I would like to believe that this is all part of some grand plan to target the vampire that actually ruined her life and killed her parents, but I don't think that's the case right now.

I’ve been reading the manga side by side as the episodes come out because I want to start it one the season ends And in the manga she does seem all that strong. Vampire with their superior strength are kinda predictable Always going for pretty linear attacks with big very telegraphed swings….making them easy to dodge. I feel her dodging these obvious attacks are why anime watches seem to think she’s fast
