Especially when takopi went back in time and Marina killed him. It was either her or Marina. It’s just no one would believe an alien killed her. But now that they have the camera I wonder if that would raise questions on what it is.

I can't believe that she really has his best interest in mind when the moment he doesnt do well on one test (& from her perspective, after finding out a classmate of his was murdered) she immediately goes "fk it, do what you want I guess".

It's interesting how this anime showcases all the different types of abuse you can have. Tbh, I don't think Azuma's mom really meant to mess with Azuma like that. She thought that he could be as successful as his brother if he really tried, but she neglected to realize that he was already trying his hardest. She probably also didn't understand how presenting a reward and then throwing it out in front of him would make him feel. Still not good parenting, but at least it seems like she actually has his best interest in mind.

2025-07-25 04:28:16 +0000 UTCWhat I took from Shizuka saying she can't rely on Azuma is that to her, Azuma was supposed to turn himself in for the murder. But instead, he turned himself in for the cover up, not the murder. He would still have to face some sort of consequence for the cover up, which would probably explain why his mom's clinic is closed too. Who wants to get treated by the lady whose son just got wrapped up in the murder of a child?
