Lord of the Mysteries/ Pantheon Poll

Wanted to give it another week or two but at this point it seems best to move on to another show. The story genuinely seems great and the animation is beautiful but if we cant follow along it doesnt work for good, entertaining reactions. With that being said, we are considering swapping it out with Pantheon which would begin this week. Let us know below!

I’m late to the party lol but I read LOTM and I enjoyed it even with the dogshit translation. I tried the adaptation and it was ass. People keep saying that it’s supposed to like that are lying. The start of the novel was slow and drawn out to help you get used to the world and the characters. It’s not as confusing as the adaptation. In the novel, you were able to identify with the main character and understanding his motivations and the adaptation failed at that. Also, if you’ve never read or watched xianxia or any cultivation series, it’s easier to get lost. Honestly, the novels are extremely popular in China and people would’ve watched regardless which is why they were able to get away with this shit.

2025-07-28 04:25:46 +0000 UTCCould you guys perhaps swap to the English dub for Lord of Mysteries when it's caught up with the Chinese sub (in roughly 3 weeks) A lot of people commented on how they were able to follow along with episodes 1 and 2 of the English dub a lot better than they were in Chinese with no real need to pause at all

At this point the LOTM fan base is finna put me off of even buying the books. Like it ain't never that serious to be so disrespectful and childish to anyone who drops a show and then immediately talk mess about them like come on man is just disappointing to see.
