But it's more about the root problems that stem from having such a troubled home, Marina with her abusive mother and absent father and Shizuka with no parents to speak of, her mother just shows up to feed her sometimes. It creates monsters, Marina who is abusive to Shizuka, and Shizuka who can't heal because of what Marina's doing is ONLY ever going to relish Marina going away, even if that means killing her. They're two types of monsters.

The only one who seems to be living carefree is that kid's big brother 🤣 I would be jealous of him too. Dude stole everyone's happiness in that town it seems. He gets good grades, mom actually likes him, has a gf, gets a nice allowance and making extra money from a whole job 🤣
