Arthur is so traumatized that he is mentally stuck as a child. Maki faced a lot of misogyny and double standards as a woman in a male dominated field. Burns is so conflicted with his religion. Joker was groomed and solidered into the religion but they escaped. Like there’s so much more to everyone

It takes you back to when we first met him back in the scrapyard. Even though Lisa tries to cook him a little bit, Vulcan had to remind her that she still here though lol.

2025-06-04 07:19:00 +0000 UTCTwo things about Arthur’s parents: 1) they didn’t know how dangerous it was in the Nether, so it would’ve been more reckless to take him with them. And 2) there is every chance that Roshi’s right and Arthur’s dad saw the role Arthur would play in the coming battle, so they needed to leave Arthur on the surface. Likewise, leaving now is either to do something that only they can do, or get the kids somewhere safe. Seeing as they didn’t warn anyone about an impending attack on Asakusa, I’m betting on the first one.
