2025-06-03 03:14:14 +0000 UTCYou guys should check out more things from the main actress IU, music and dramas. She's the reigning #1 female solo KPop idol in the world. She's sorta like the Mariah Carey or Taylor Swift of Korea (started singing really young and killed it)

2025-05-30 16:33:54 +0000 UTC24 sec in 100 meters is SLOW an average person can run 60 meters in like 7.5 sec so she was never winning a race

2025-05-30 16:33:22 +0000 UTCI'm pausing so I don't know yet if you answer this for yourself, but to clear up any confusion (kind of), IU is playing both adult Ae-sun (but not middle-aged or elderly Ae-sun) and her own adult daughter, lol. Also, age of majority was 20 (international age) in Korea in the 1960s. I believe it dropped down to 19 in 2011 or so? So in the context of the show they were still minors.

2025-05-30 15:15:44 +0000 UTCRoshi, you did great on memory for just having watched the first episode! The only tip I would give is that whenever you see "Si" in a name, unless they Romanized it weird, it's pronounced like "she". So, Gwan-sik = Gwan-shik, Sieun = Shi-oon (Weak Hero), etc. Which is actually why some English subs will stick an h in the person's name.
