I don't think she would have any reason to believe Lestat when he told her that the vampires in europe were vicious because for all she knew, he could have been withholding information to have an upper hand (something she had seen him do time and time again)

2025-05-29 04:26:22 +0000 UTCI understand that Claudia may have come off as annoying these last few episodes but I think it makes sense since she technically still has the physiology of a 14 year old girl. Even though she might have all this knowledge, she still has the maturity of a child.

Louis failed Claudia by not telling her that Armand knew about Lestat before she joined the coven. Even if she chose the coven after, it would have at least been an informed decision. And I need Louis to explain to me how he sits in on the theatre sometimes and see's how Armand runs it, is able to tell the art dealer guy that Armand isn't as "pookie bear" as he seems, but somehow "It doesn't sound like him" when Claudia tells him he threatened her. 2. That being said, Claudia did choose the coven. First of all, she should have burned those diaries the moment she learnt the rules and Louis is partly at fault for leaving them lying around. Also, by stepdad standards, Armand is the father that stepped down but by coven master standards, he's treating her with kid gloves. Santiago even implied that the only reason Armand turns a blind eye to her keeping a diary is because of his relationship with Louis and that's the only thing that protects her. Also, Armand is not wrong that any other coven leader would have torched Claudia already for her constant disobedience and honestly, based on what we've seen from when they were still in the sewers and the fate of Santiago's maker, under different circumstances he would have too. 3. I have more to say about this episode where Louis is concerned but I won't actually be able to do so until the season is over. I probably would have forgotten what I wanted to say but I'll live.
