If Foggy and Muse are said to be back in season 2, I dont think they’re going to go the flashback route with multiple characters so Im inclined to believe that Muse isn’t really dead or died but will be revived as a mutant/inhuman.

Idk how but to me it seemed very anticlimactic and rushed if this is where they ended his story line. This also would have made sense given they kept referencing how he was evading everyone and everything for so long. That would have been a great way to introduce his abilities. Hopefully we get more I thought Muses actor was great and would like to see more of it for the points you laid out too.

It would have made him way more unique against Daredevil rather than just being a psycho artist who can fight. He was built up for 6 episodes and we were just starting to get into his story. Hoping he's not dead but if he is then that's a bit disappointing.

The reason he kept saying that she "helped" him was because of her books on vigilantes and their personas (They even met at her book signing). For Muse, in the comics he was more brutal but also has superpowers. He was an inhuman so he had super strength and agility but also had a power that allowed him to evade other people's senses. This made him a perfect counter for Daredevil since he acted like a black hole for his radar sense. Basically, Disney didn't have the movie rights to the X-men and mutants at the time (Fox still had them) so between 2013-2018 they tried really hard to replace mutants with inhumans in comics and other media (Because they had full rights to them). That's why Ms. Marvel and Muse (who were both invented during that time-frame) were inhumans and not mutants. In 2019 they got the rights back so they pretty much immediately ditched the inhumans because no one really liked them that much and the X-Men were way more popular. That's why when they introduced Ms. Marvel in the MCU they didn't even bother going through the whole inhuman thing and just made her a mutant (They then made her a mutant in the comics to line up with the MCU). I think they should have done this with Muse too. I get not wanting to make him an inhuman but they should have just made him a mutant and given him his comic powers. It would have made him stand out more as a unique villain rather than just being a psycho artist who knows taekwondo. I think he may be returning in S2 but if he doesn't then I definitely think they could have done his storyline way better. He was hinted since Ep 1 but we honestly were just starting to get into his story.

Final two eps are apparently all the new shit (same as ep 1) and S2 and beyond is all the new shit as well. So this stuff with Muse is probably the last thing from the original ideas that were leftover and they wanted to/had to wrap it up this ep. I think, given that "excuse" (if you wanna call it that), it was ok.
