2025-02-25 01:40:55 +0000 UTCSome of my favorite chapters in the manga happen latter on when the number of girlfriend is 20+, they start having 'slice of life' chapters which are just a bunch of short sections of the girlfriends kicking it without Rentaro and bonding together. Some of the pairings are really entertaining and helps to keep character development going, since they usually fit like 5 or more short vignettes with at least 2 girlfriends doing their thing together. Even some of the more unpopular girlfriends get boosted up just from how they interact with the others. 32 girlfriends in and we still get new development from the starting roster, especially Shizuka and Karane.

There's a bit in that movie where the male lead catches the female lead as she slowly floats down from the sky. Subtle things like this spread culture around to those who are curious enough to seek it out.

The blurring is protection against copyright claim since Japan's copyright laws don't allow for fair use. They even play the musical theme from the film, but it sounds modified. There was a still from the same movie in episode 1 of this season, and that was also blurred.
