Overall, this series was great. You can tell they were running out of steam by the time of this season and I won’t say the ending wasn’t somewhat rushed but I get they didn’t want to overstay their welcome especially with the actors getting older. I will say that I’m kind of left unsatisfied with the end of Kenny and Robby’s character arcs but I guess they couldn’t give everybody the spotlight this season.

This show was so dope, and watching it with y'all has been hilarious. I'll probably always hear "OVER KARATE?!?!?!" in my head lmao. I loved how literally every character they re-used from the OG movies, no matter how big or small, was played by the same actors (as far as I could tell at least). My only complaint is that we never saw Hilary Swank or any characters from her Karate Kid movie lol. I was kinda holding out hope that she might appear in this finale :p

10/10 TV Show in my opinion I loved all the ups and the downs and I felt that they ended every plot line and character arc perfectly which you literally never see in TV shows.

The main focus was Tory and Miguel Miguel was Johnny's first student and Johnny was torys first sensai so it' makes sense as to why they were the main focus

Overall the show was decent. Only season that I considered good, was literally the first one. The way it introduced everything and set up everything was perfect, it really built off the original karate kid movies well. The rest though, was extremely corny. The writing was subpar and didn't make a lot of sense. As for the ending, it actually ended pretty well. It tried to knot everything up perfectly, you can tell they really tried hard to end it on a good note. Would have dropped this show a long time ago, if they weren't reacting to it. They made it bearable and enjoyable. I give the show a, decent time waster/10.

The Karate Kid Legends will take place in probably 2022 ish. Cobra Kai timeline ended in 2019-2020. Show started in 2017 and we can assume 2-3 years passed from S1-S6 in terms of the show, IRL obviously it’s taken 7 years.

Movie will not have Johnny or Cobra Kai students as reoccurring characters if at all, the story of the movie takes place in New York City. It is the same universe though, but years after the end of Cobra Kai, the story of Cobra Kai is only 2-3 years timespan, so technically they are still pre 2020 I think. The creators have mentioned doing a Miyagi series of his past in Okinawa and maybe after that, during the aftermath of the war.

I liked how everything ended but they missed out on Kreese and Silver's incident. Its like they were never informed and got closure about it. I wish we saw the main character's reaction about it especially Johnny who finally forgave him. They just put those 2 out and moved on.

Johnny’s fight iq is actually really impressive. Because where Daniel gets giant training arcs where he learns new techniques and strategies. Johnny observes his opponent usually from watching or fighting them one time. And always comes up with effective counters.

They really kicked Kenny and Devon to the curb. Kenny didnt have a single line and was just standing in the background and Devon was only in the final episode. The Sekai Taikai should of been a bracket style tournamnet where everyone gets to shine win or lose instead of it being focused solely on the team captains. I feel like this should of been its own season with an additional five epiosdes to properly conclude everything. They didnt even acknlowedge that Kreese and Silver died. Still enjoyed it and looking forward to the movie.

End of an era. Yo Roshi & Crew. To quote Alucard at the end of Castlevania, it's been a strange ride with Cobra Kai, but an extremely enjoyable and wholesome one. I have mostly been a patreon since y'all were midway through the Avatar reactions, so I followed your journey with Cobra Kai from day 1. Whilst Cobra Kai isn't as eternal as Avatar, I think it will hold a special place in our hearts for a long time. Genuinely crazy how far this shit has come from corny Johnny and Miguel in S1. When character development shows are directed well, like this one, they are able to give you perspective on what's important in life. Even more so when it involves a great group of characters and actors (shoutout to Billy Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Xolo Mariduena, dude and chick who plays Robbie and Tori, and the archsensei of Myagi-Do: Penis Breath) See y'all on the next special journey.
