Many times in this season (and previous seasons since he literally wears a watch on his wrist) we saw him with a clock background and red strings tied to it. And usually in anime and asian dramas they always talk about the 'red strings of fate' and how that shapes your destiny and ties you to people or certain events. And remember before he went back in time to save Cheng the first time Vein told him to stop messing with the past and was primarily trying to kill LG. So I think for Vein he literally plucked his string of fate and killed him.

2025-02-12 08:05:04 +0000 UTCWhat I also want to know is, if Cheng has died more than once (which I kinda think he did considering Lu Guang's memories of him dying have him placed in different locations) I'm guessing Cheng doesn't remember any of the incidents leading up to his death since the timeline keeps getting rewritten. CXS can't exactly have a "future self" since he's supposed to be dead but I'm wondering if he somehow "remembers" things or feelings from incidents since he's gifted? The song "Keep in Mind" really feels directly tied to CXS, and the lyrics state "I felt the shadows taking my life". That could just be metaphorical of how he feels when he dives into other people's lives, but it could also mean that deep down, somewhere in his subconscious, he feels like something is off about his existence. At this point I might just be speculating too much but it's hard to not do that with a series like this LOL

Yeah, I think he gets trapped in the past every time he goes back. We've seen LG clap in this arc a few times and nothing happened. We also saw from CXS himself that accidental claps still activates his power, so maybe that's the show's way of confirming LG doesn't have it anymore? See, I thought we were dealing with multiple timelines too, but apparently, that's not the case. I unfortunately can't find where I read this, and I hope it wasn't mistranslated, but one of the directors said there's only one timeline being reset. No alternate ones. He could be misleading us on purpose, but that'd be kinda crazy ngl lol. As for how LG is able to keep his memories, I'm not sure tbh. I'm assuming it's because he (the LG from the future) is the one who's in the past now, and not his "original" self.

Someone in the comments pointed out that while Liu Xiao is playing his phone game, you can see his high score information and the date says 12/09/2024 but Bridon Arc was supposed to take place three years prior SO WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS INFORMATION??? Some people said it could be a mistake or whatever but I really doubt it. When I first saw the comment I though it was like maybe a week in the future but I checked and it's literally three whole years in the future. My brain is clapped and my head hurts 🤣 If he is indeed from the future and traveled back time, how did he do it? Does he also use photos or can he just time travel whenever and however he wants? I was wanting answers this season and all I got was more questions and more reasons to be suspicious of Lu Guang. I have a love/hate relationship with this series. 😅

Would he not be trapped in whatever timeline he traveled to? Or would the ability leaving him immediately send him back? And is the timeline actually resetting or are parallel timelines being created? That's something I need answered too cause if the timeline was truly resetting, how is Lu Guang remembering everything that happened from everytime he time-traveled?

Vein seems kinda like a hit-man (maybe for whoever is involved with that booklet with the eye), so maybe whatever organization he's working with sent him to take out Lu Guang cause he was a major problem. I'm actually worried about whatever Lu Guang and Cheng's parents are tied to. They all seem so suspicious to me 😭

2025-02-11 22:40:58 +0000 UTCnah, this seaskn is a prequel. everything that happened in this season happened before the events of season 1 and 2. at the end of season 2 what they showed us was a small snippet of lu guangs scene in season 3 of him going back in time after cxs's death. like a teaser of sorts, lu guang doesn't have cxs's ability after he stays a certain amount of time in the past so basically he won't have it again unless cxs dies in his arms again. they show us this in season 3 ep 1 when, at the convention, lu gusng claps his hands togdther and he doesn’t leave the photo. he also mentions a consequence for staying too long in a photo, which can be assumed to be being stuck in the past, unable to leave any longer. it was also confirmed that there are not multiple timelines, lu guang is just rewriiting the same one over and over again, so itd mame sense for him to lose cxs's ability after getting stuck in the past.

How did she know when to jump in last time since this time she got a clue?!?! Is CXS going to get pre knowledge or something as an extension of his power? S3 can't come soon enough with its 24 eps😭😭

And that's why at the end of season 2, Lu Guang said what he did about being sorry that he was lying to Cheng. I think Lu Guang, at the end of season 2, went back in time to right after Cheng died, then from there, went back in time again to where we were at this season with Bridon. So essentially, he went further back in time while in the past.

He and Cheng continued their conversation from when he possessed Emma on the bridge and then further when they were in the police station (Where he kept telling Cheng that he "was cheating"). If I recall correctly the way it was explained was that Tianchen possessed their friend Shanshan (at the end of S1) and sent a photo of her and Qiao Ling to the twins' mom's phone (which Tianchen had). He then used that photo to dive into Qiao Ling's body by combining his powers with his sister's.

If he was possessing her then her eyes should have been yellow since Lu Guang would have been using Cheng Xaioshi's ability. Lu Guang would have also dissappeared from the street. So I think Lu Guang has a puppeteering ability along with his ability to look into photos. Maybe he inherited each one from each of his parents? And of course he also Cheng's ability, so he probably has three 😶

2025-02-11 16:22:52 +0000 UTCINSANE FINALE. Lu Guang called up Light Yagami and asked for Kira's help😭💀💀💀. I think this is an indication that Lu Guang has done this so many times and accumulated different superpowers from people. Maybe he was waiting to kill Vein until he accumulated enough powers and knowledge of the past? For the scene at the end, I think here is what happened: Vein HAD to have come back to life immediately after he died because 3 years later his body would have decayed and wouldn't be sitting alone in a bag. After Vein came back he probably linked with Liu Xiao. They likely spent the 3 years going on whatever mission they were on with the book (We know Liu Xiao was away overseas for S1 and S2). It's also possible that they wanted to avoid direct contact with Cheng and Lu for the time being since Vein now knows how powerful Lu Guang is. At the end of S2, Liu Xiao is back in China and they recruited Tianchen. Maybe it was finally time for them to launch the next phase of their plan and they went to Felix to bring him back onto the team. Felix probably felt betrayed by Lu and Cheng and adopted the "fuck it" mentality and joined back up with the gang, which is why the news said he went missing. I think Jack "went missing" because Felix or Vein decided to kill him. Another possibility is they both went missing because Liu Xiao wanted to cut off any loose ends and told Tianchen to kill them both. On a different note, there’s an original rough schedule for Link Click season release dates that was released by the director a couple of years ago. It said this arc was supposed to come out around May 2025. However, Link Click is super popular in China so there is pressure for seasons to come out as fast as possible now. This whole Bridon arc was done by another studio (Different than the one from S1 and 2) while the main studio works on S3, which is confirmed to be 24 eps. In the original plan it said S3 is supposed to come out at the end of 2025 and that could be the case but I think early to mid 2026 is more likely. Also I’ve been hearing speculation that it may be the final season but that’s purely guessing based off of how the plot has developed so far.
