Ima be honest bro.. the reason they got pin down was because all of the soldiers were shooting paralyzing shots at them at once for what ever reason even in super laser beam guns fuck goku up plus in Z goku’s base form isn’t that strong it’s only in super where his base form has god ki but base Goku in Z can still get overwhelmed especially when he’s that small and getting shot at by infinite lasers from all directions also now that I think about it I’m pretty sure a lightsaber can cut Goku in half 😂

Even if you think it's not much of a nerf, the characters are saying it is. Goku already acknowledged that if they had their adult bodies, then the army wouldn't be a problem.

2025-02-06 06:10:26 +0000 UTCthe reason is stupid when we know they can fight just fine as kids, if Toriyama wanted to nerf them for a sense of adventure like we had in DB and in the Namek saga, he should have did something different, cause turning them into children is hardly a nerf, the way they're trying to make it seem like they're having any trouble at all with this army or anyone in the demon realm isn't believable, they're just to strong for all this.

He even did it in his free time with Ariale and Dr. Slump. This is, indeed, a lot like OG Dragonball, just misadventures and cool things to see and do. I dig it.

Many episodes were just like Daima, Dragonball wasn't just about the fights, but obvisouly DBZ and SUPER is all y'all think about. Thats why ppl hate But sag because they thought it was too silly compared to previous sagas. Get over it, this is how Akira Toriyama enjoyed writing DragonBall.

They literally said they the weapons there can shoot for days if they wanted without reload, both GOKU and VEGETA still say they are nerfed because of their child bodies. Meaning all stats are still decreased, plus these are HELL weapons not RR army human weapons. They're obviously stronger than the soldiers, but they were getting overwhelmed with a large force at once. Individually they aren't shit, but as an army they're a problem. It's not that hard to understand what Toriyama was going for with this series.

They were fighting an entire Army, so of course its not going to be as difficult especially since they ran in 1 at a time.
