She is just as hypocritical as the Roy’s but hides it under the veener of virtue and being seen as the upstanding news media corporation. It’s horrific optics if she were to sign off on the sale when the buyer who represents everything they supposedly stand against is undergoing a huge scandal of this sort at the time of the purchase. Both her and Logan are prideful as hell. Logan needed the sale just as much at the time and left because they tried to force his hand and make him announce Shiv as the successor. That was his “line.” Having the Pierce name dragged through the mud in the ensuing investigation after the purchase and subsequent integration was hers.
