Man, it really shows how much the people and their interactions make this show great. The showrunners already got to reuse a bunch of the sets from the first season (main room with the beds, stair maze, red light/greenlight field), and it gives us this sense of familiarity. Don't get me wrong - some ppl in the game are nasty/greedy (player 100, thanos etc) But a lot of the people there are in debt of 1 billion won MINIMUM so leaving after the first or even second game wouldn't even make a dent in the debt. I really like this new format though this season (voting after each game etc) - it really highlights the importance of community and the fallacy of autonomy under capitalism. At the end of the day some of their decisions may be dumb/selfish but it will always be the fault of 001/ the VIPs for setting this up. Under capitalism we live in a world where someone could have such a ridiculous amount of wealth and rather than helping people - they make them fight and suffer for entertainment (beast games etc)

I like more this system. In the first game, even if some people didn't care if they died, it was really unlikely to survive all the 6 games and win the prize. I have no sympathy for anyone who decided to play the games, because they made that choice, at the end of the day, it's yes or no, and they said yes. And one thing I do not like is putting the MC on a pedestal like he did nothing wrong. He came back to the games, knowing that people would have to die for him to win, he knew this. And then during the games he still killed people. That is why in season 1 my favorite character was sang woo (sorry for spelling it wrong) because he was the realest person their, he knew exactly what type of person he had to be to win the games, and did not hide behind a mask. And I know if he would have won, yes he would have been guilty, but he would have instantly helped out all the people, instead of wasting years looking for the game masters, and then deciding to help the people you were supposed to years later.
