If it's a HUGE groundbreaking movie where spoilers will be everywhere like with Deadpool and Wolverine, then they'll probably watch it in theatres. The Batman was still sort of during Covid times so Lupa saw it but Sheera and Roshi didn't, so they reacted to it. They were using like every bit of willpower to not watch Across the Spider-Verse in theatres.
