filial pietys still huge now :(

hellatunababy

He's built different for real🥶

Sasha

It's not jerky, its venison

Sasha

To be honest, as ridiculous as it is on screen, people do that irl as well. It's just selfish stupidity.

Kikimari

That's true but to be fair they planned to kill the prince anyway. He may have meant for the son to bring him back to be killed but he was going to kill him either way.

Dark Shogun

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he send his son to arrest the crown prince for treason? The son decided to kill the prince and got himself killed instead. I don't think the father knows. He thinks his son got killed during an arrest.

Quintin

This is what I was thinking. You sent your son to kill someone and that person just defended himself. Simple. Take the L and keep it pushing.

Chelsea Bondzanga

This is one reason I don't like bad buys in tv, movies, etc. You send someone (son, nephew, cousin, etc.) to kill someone. That someone you tried to kill kills the person that you sent after them, and the bad guy wants vengeance. Absolutely ridiculous, imo.

Dark Shogun

i feel like gender may also play a role in the power disparity between the queen and her father. they're in a patriarchial society, so even the most powerful woman is still a woman. also, to sheera's point that the queen could clap her father - filial loyalty is super huge in that time, so that may not be something the queen would think of (immediately, at least)

malfunct

silo is fireeee

Kiran

sheera be like: kill them all low class useless people

myel

Please watch Silo, thank you.

Desert Penguin

I agree with what Roshi said that the Queen most likely doesn't have the power to stand up against his father. They may pretend to respect titles and traditions, but it's all politics and alliances behind the scenes. Who do you think would be allied to the Queen? She is surrounded by his father's people and backed by clans who support his father. Well, not even sure if she'll fight against him (haven't finished the show) but it might be exciting if she does.

LY

technically he didn't kill his son the zombie did.... this might be the best zombie situation at least survivors get a break during the day only problem is they got the best hiding spots so if it randomly turns night ur screwed lol

Reckless Company

Zombie win no diff

Atlas Creation

Ashin of the North is the movie about how the zombies in this series (Kingdom) started. You should watch it after this series.

sheera said "fuck them old folks" lmaoooo

Mrlanie

I might be crazy but if I was the crown prince, I’d try to sneak in to the kings palace and let him loose! Either he escapes or they’d end up killing him while trying to catch him! Win-win

Sam

Day 20 of recommending ‘Run with the Wind’ trio reaction - underrated sports anime (running) - 1 season with 23 episodes - same animators that did Haikyu - BLACK GUY!

Kpop Tart

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hasnain Khan

"Zombie boat, that shouldn't even make it to its destination" Me having A Quiet Place 2 flashback of when that one monster managed to hop on a boat somehow made it onto the island.

TheMilkMan

I love how even in this setting, this show still has the classic zombie survivor group roles, you got the MC and his close friend, the doctor, the sharpshooter, and later we'll get a comic relief.

TheMilkMan

Yessss I loved that movie

Kaylein Ontashia

Random fact, Hanyang, the city with the scholars is actually Seoul in modern day.

Divinerights

Are y’all going to watch Ashin of the North too? It’s kinda the prequel to Kingdom 👀

Del

Man, I wish the Japanese invaded while the outbreak is happening. I'd love to see samurais vs zombies
