I mean, the writing's been on the wall since the first episode that Logan probably has onset dementia, right? When he got up in the middle of the night in the opening scene and couldn't find the bathroom and just peed on the floor. Who knows, maybe part of that was just him being a dick, but there was no one else around to see that, so I took it more as he woke up and was super disoriented rather than him just being weird. But then this episode with him zoning out pouring the coffee, and even him not being able to remember the memory game at the end and hitting the kid out of frustration. It is super common for dementia patients to become frustrated with their lack of understanding of a situation and occasionally become violent as a result. I'm saying this as someone around dementia patients regularly (my grandmothers are both in LTC homes), Logan reminds me of them in the early stages.

Yeah he said he was gonna buy local TV during the game because he had been thinking a lot about buying local TV that day, not to troll Ken. He was tweaking out for a sec. And he recited the items from the game Marcia to prove to himself and her that he hasn’t lost it yet. Bear in mind Marcia is the only family member that Logan lets be a part of his physical and cognitive therapy recovery sessions. I’m not saying Grace doesn’t have free will or a backbone to make her own choices (and I only made it to…early S3 myself, last I remember? I don’t recall a lot of details), but you do kind of also have to factor in that all of the Roy kids have extreme financial and social leverage over their partners, flings, etc. As we saw with the news anchor lady who got pressured into being Ken’s date. Roshi is seemingly always the most rational of the three but they have such a nice contrast of opinions and general attitudes that it works so well. I don't see how what Grace did was wrong. If someone needs to have their ego stroked to such a degree that the success of a shit movie pisses you off so much that showing that movie to children on Thanksgiving infuriates you, you have issues.
