But there is a troupe in anime where there is a youngish single homeroom teacher who needs some action (WITH SOMEONE OF THEIR AGE) but cant get any. Ie. Toradora homeroom, Makeine nurse and homeroom, etc. Sidenote: They are graduating seniors so at minimum 17, but Yasuda still needs to be fired and have his hard drives checked. Even if he was 100% joking and everyone around him knew that, its still completely outta pocket and unprofessional at any job, not to mention one involving minors. Grown ahh man talm bout 'bring the girls over'. This is what gives anime a bad name bruh.

While yea it's played for laughs, he gets called out several times which doesn't always happen in some other series especially ones that try to romanticize it. Also there was a recent set of case where creepers told Japanese school girls that they had to do above the waist exams and they had to remove their tops/bras. Creepers love to take advantage of their authority society grants them by being around children or teens.
