Also, Uryu never used his schrift against Renji. He one shot a full powered Senjumaru after using it and he didn't feel the need to use it against Renji.

Renji stocks are for sure up, but the show made it pretty clear that as soon as Uryu used his Volstandig, Renji was outmatched, as seen when he's no longer able to destroy his arrows. Even with all the punishment Renji put on him at the start, Uryu took literally no damage and he wasn't even usng Blut Vene until Zaga Teppo.

And honestly a lot of the quincy stuff is tough for anime onlys it is said like once or twice at most and explained in like 2 sentences. A rewatch wouldn't hurt nor a recap but it's not like the biggest problem in the world if they don't quite remember things esp since they are enjoying it. Also I just don't get why you think they would do this for views or something Bleach is one of their less popular of their major anime reactions and for many years it was rare to find anyone at all reacting to it so maybe I'm more forgiving but honestly I just don't think it's that important.

My boy Renji was going ham and was a problem for Uryu while he was in Vollständig. Thats very impressive. Uryu wouldn’t have won if he hadn’t used Sklaverei to enhance his abilities and if Renji wasn’t holding back like Ichigo was. Uryu, in some Batman logic, used that to his advantage. Also Renji and Uryu actually do go back and are closer then many of Ichigo's other friends for example Chad and Renji, as in the Arrancar arc they both went through a rough and long and drawn out brawl with espada 8(which is actually refrenced here as Renji in that fight has to stall for Uryu for 20 seconds and obv here the same is true although enemies) . The reason I follow them is because of how consistent they are about the shows they watch and try to understand the mechanics behind it. But somehow for bleach, they have no idea how the mechanics work. Let me put it in terms that even you can understand; it’s very disrespectful towards the fans, when you are watching the show just to get views and likes. They genuinely don’t remember the most important moments happened in the series. Basically, nobody is asking them to study bleach but having basic knowledge and understanding about the show you are watching and you earn money off it is common decency and mutual respect towards the fanbase of the show.

He also gave them the volstandig and their schrifts, so to be real Renji the only one fighting with the power he gained by himself while Uryu's piggybacking off of Yhwach like the rest of the sternritter besides two of them

2024-11-18 23:43:14 +0000 UTCAn Ep becomes a priority when it’s adapting content/chapters that has garnered attention and positive hype reception when it was originally serialized in the manga, and turns out completely fluid with of a higher peak level of production (Eps 6, 7, 19 and 20) which this Ep wasn’t as it was anime original and for only half of it, so naturally there will be far better full on fluidly animated (Sakuga) Eps coming up. 1st one should be this next week, just like the DanDaDan clearly had with Ep 7. It’s not a buzzword or cryptic by any means, it’s just something major to get hyped about.

2024-11-18 23:32:57 +0000 UTCWell, Sklaverei was used many times but they totally forgot about it, Yhwach used Sankt Bogen against Ichibei and they forgot about it, Askin used his schrift against Tenjuro, they also forgot that Arrancars are poisonous to quincies hence why askin was running away the whole time and I believe that they most definitely forgot about Zarakis Shikai too. The issue isn’t about Roshi spoiling them but that they have like no interest whatsoever in understanding the mechanics of bleach. They never forget important infos or new power ups about any other anime/show except Bleach and it’s the only anime where they don’t pay attention. I am sorry to say this but I believe they have no interest in the anime however it brings them views so they watch it.

This amount of fluid, dynamic action and crisp camera movement we haven't seen since maybe The Fire and I would say that episode doesn't have a lot of movement but is more stylistic and visual in nature. Yes, Pierrot Films absolutely cooked with this episode and will hopefully bless us with another episode like this in the future but let's not get delusional here and think that future fights will somehow all look better than this just because this wasn't in the manga.

2024-11-18 23:05:26 +0000 UTCSo much like Ep 30, this one was quite the surprise but a welcome one to be sure as this entire fight was not at all in the manga, while Ichigo vs Uryu was at least 2 panels that showed only a skirmish turned into half an Ep of an anime original fight line whereas this one is completely brand new (both being only about 2 chapters equivalent to NewGen anime pacing), making a more convincing case that Uyru has truly betrayed his friends. It looks like Uryu got his get back from Renji who laid him out back in Ep 16, seems like he never let that one go when he said “You are a Soul Reaper I despise” now having him laid out, truly a profound callback. Renji could’ve ended him at least twice and while it seemed like he was dead seriously trying to do so apparently he was still subconsciously holding back, however despite that he was still at a disadvantage anyways considering their environment. Needless to say this battle was also not a priority as it didn’t garner any attention since it wasn’t even in the manga to do so, yet they still delivered with this new standard cinema direction courtesy of Pierrot Films. 🙌 Next week is when we should be diving into the 1st priority fight & Ep of the part as the big 400th one of the series for the Mad MVP.

Other than that, this was an unexpected and welcomed surprise episode that’s not even a priority yet like the next one should be, and I think I speak for everyone when I say Renji vs Uryu > Ichigo Vs Uryu. At least he tried his best considering the disadvantages. Last thing is that the ending is “new” in the sense that it’s reversed which signifies Uryu’s main ability.

2024-11-18 22:49:42 +0000 UTCFor all the Renji haters out there, there are multiple factors for why Renji lost. First of all, the fight is an anime exclusive (wasnt in the manga). Even though this is canon now the fight still had to go Uryu's way because he doesnt lose this early in the manga and does other stuff in the arc so Renji literally couldnt win. As for the fight itself Uryu had home advantage with him having complete control of the reishi in the area and Renji had limited mobility cause he couldnt flashstep or make footholds to fight in the air with Uryu. They also gave Uryu a new convenient ability to take away Renji's spiritual pressure which I dont hate but still contributed to Renji losing. On top of that Uryu himself says that Renji was holding back the entire fight without the intent to kill. I think Uryu would still win because his schrift is broken (wont spoil), but at the very least Renji should of been able to force him to use it. But I guess they couldnt because that would be showing Uryu's schrift too early. Either way this isnt a Renji L because we saw a lot of new moves from him that wasnt in the manga like the wukong-like hair multiplier arm thing and him summoning his old bankai to do a exploding finisher. I dont know why everyone thinks Renji's trash when he soloed a sternritter that took down 3 lieutenants (Yumichika and Ikaku are at that level) and 2 captains with ease. Put some respect on Renji.
