I'm very curious to see where this is gonna go with this reveal of Glorio working for Doctor Arinsu..., I had a feeling w/ that hint of Glorio coming from the First World makes more sense here and there.... Also that Minotaur is definitely looking like classic Toriyama writing of the original DB era where we got big threatening looking dudes at first, but w/ a goofy ass personality... hits harder knowing this'll be the last show to have personal touches from him....

Goku and co aren't really used to magic. Outside of the Buu arc, Piccolo's clothes beam, and the Mafuba, magical abilities haven't been utilized much in the series. In the DB universe magic is completely different from ki. It can't be read in the same way that ki can. Not gonna spoil the manga, but magic is shown to be incredibly OP and can catch an even stronger Goku and Vegeta off guard in a later Super arc. So Goku being thrown off and confused about Glorio's ability is due to his lack of knowledge about magic

Yea but they didn't know what was going on they seen him beat buu that only lead them to go get goku but they don't know his powers or even the extent of his powers that's why he asked at the end "what was that" cause he doesn't know about super sayian. the only thing that could be true is that he's holding back which idk if he is this shows been pretty straight forward on the power scaling so far that is. My point is just cause he was in the room doesn't mean he knows anything about their powers because gomah and his mans don't know they just watching stuff happen with zero explanation they literally just know he beat buu.

Nah go to episode 1. Glorio was hiding in the room when Gomah had literally all of Goku’s fights playing in 8k on a big ass screen. This seems to be an oversight in the writing

Sheera calm down real quick and remember what has been said throughout the show they don't know goku's powers all they know is he's someone strong enough to defeat buu so no glorio doesn't known about ssj and the forms after. But he could be holding back but I doubt it or doubt its anywhere close to goku they already stated that ppl from the outside world are insanely strong so just relax with some of the assumptions cause some of them have answers.

I am glad that Glorio finally called Goku out after nearly 5 episodes. The man is paying for his food, but Goku can't be bothered to remember his name. Actually, at this point I am pretty sure Goku was putting more effort into forgetting his name than remembering it.
