I love the choice to lean into the comedy for the second season. Personally, I think it’s really well executed.

He's glad he got sunburned so he had to go inside and check his face, which led seeing Hori in the skirt. And he's glad he got sunburned/participated in Sports Day because it resulted in all these lovely moments that he otherwise would not have had, including this one with Hori.
