Small correction: for a bug, the abdomen is in the back. So the order is Head -> Thorax -> Abdomen. I don't know anything specific but a degree of their actions are dictated by their gospels which give loose descriptions of each of their futures. Through this they could theoretically "know" things without specifically communicating them. They of course could be actively colluding but from what we've seen thus far they really don't seem that coordinated. I kind of feel like Archbishop Lust/the writer was kind of calling anime/manga/light novel fans when she calls out Subaru about Crust and Emilia. After he tries to get Lust to leave Crust alone, she calls out is it her big boobs or plump lips that he likes and when he denies this her next speech I think functions as two things. In context, she is calling Subaru’s love and/or the idea of love out as not being real by listing a bunch of random love platitudes that seem so generic to describe his love, ending it with saying how it wouldn’t matter if he didn’t also lust for Emilia’s looks. I feel like this is also true for most “waifus.” A lot of those reasons for love she mentioned also feel like stuff, an anime fan might say when someone asks them why they like a female character or their “waifu”, but I also feel like no matter how well written a female character is written if she’s not attractive people won’t like her, at least as much. This is exclusive to women, but the amount of anime female characters that are talked about just for the attractiveness is so much higher. Even Re:Zero plays into this a bit

I see it as a matter of how much one is invested in the story. I found it weird that Otto met Reinhart after meeting gluttony, so i rewatched the previous episode where Otto met gluttony and paid more attention to the scene. After watching the flood in current episode i realized its the same area the 2 met. The tall building with opening in middle, side walls and canals. And what's wierd is that the anime didn't show this episode who did it. Then there's also the outro song of the anime, the part of it which showcases the archbishops. Gluttony was portraied sitting on the river/flood, which could suggest he is the one behind the cause of the flood. I also imagine it takes time to do this. With that in mind we have this: - gluttony dealing with the situation and trying to break the dam that holds the water from flooding into the city. - his position is at the very edge of the city, whereas the crew is far away from here, more towards the center or even if not center, still a great distance if u look at the ending of the episode. - the crew was fighting gluttony who was in a different attire, different weapon (claws at the fingers) and a more animalistic way of fighting and mannierism. So the question would be, how can all these events happen at the same time, the key locations be so far away from each other and yet Gluttony can get from one point to another so fast? There is only one answer for that, and it resides in the way he describes himself "we" and 2 different names were used for Gluttony. The trio wouldnt be able to put 2 on 2 together fast enough, cause they would have to sit and analyze de details presented.

I think we're gonna see Subaru die less often now. The way he views himself and views his ability to restart changed a lot during the second half of S2 after meeting the witches. He was told to include himself on the list of people to save (instead of using his life as a disposable tool), he learned it's okay to rely on others instead of shouldering everything himself, and he finally realized that other people do care about him. Subaru has died three times so far, and each time, he slowly moved towards his new mindset of relying on the people who care about him. I feel like dying now would sorta invalidate this, cause what else should Subaru be expected to do under these circumstances? 😅 Still, I was 100% expecting Subaru to die when his leg came off. As the episode continued on and we saw other characters, I assumed we were learning things that might be relevant during Subaru's next life, but I'm thinking now that he's definitely gonna survive this time, and that's probably for the best. On an unrelated note, I absolutely love the OP and ED, but I wish they played less often so we could maximize the episode's run time. We got spoiled in S2, and now I expect longer episodes in order to get as much of the light novels adapted as possible. lol

In Re:Zero Break Time (chibi shorts where they include missing anime scenes), there’s an interaction between Subaru, Al, and Beatrice that reveals Al is also from Earth and has been in the Re:Zero world for 19 years. Al says he’s never met another person from Earth. He then tells Beatrice to protect Subaru but calls her “Beako” when he says that and she gets upset, saying only Subaru can call her that. Al responds with, “I know… all too well,” which is suspicious since it’s supposedly his first time meeting her. This happened around season 3, episode 1, but wasn’t shown in the main anime and most likely won’t be. Massive L for my fellow Aldebaran fans.

If you guys remember, the tome of wisdom is the book that Echidna gave to Roswaal and Beatrice that told them basically what the future would be like. Which is how Roswaal was able to know and adapt to all of Subaru's plans in S2. Otto however is not in the tome of wisdom at all and Roswaal didn't even know he existed which is how Subaru blindsided him and saved everyone. Beatrice left her copy in the burning mansion when Subaru saved her and Ram threw Roswaal's copy into a fire. So they should both be burned to ash. But apparently someone managed to salvage one of the two and the bad guys want it now. An artificial spirit would be any spirit not created naturally. So like how Echidna "made" Beatrice. And lastly the marriage of Emilia is simple. But we now have three extra demands on our plate and the city is in ruin
