Ichigo held back against Yhwach because he doesn't understand his powers just yet, there's certain conditions for him to use HOS Bankai. As far as Uryu we'll need to see how it plays out but so far we know he purposely didn't aim for his chest, might be speculation but its also possible Ichigo let himself get hit

Ichigo showed up after the surprise invasion, lost, immediately went up to the soul place to get his sword reforged and train. The minute he found out the reason his mother actually died, imo - he decided to try and kill Yhwach (same as Ichigo). I don't think he wanted to get his other friends involved in the battle - so I think he left alone. I also don't think he killed the female Squad 0 member. I think he wounded her. I feel like he's just doing this to get in good with the other Sternritters - but even then, I don't think that blonde guy trusts him at all. I still don't understand what Ishida's play is, but it does make sense given the fact that Yhwach could take his powers at any moment. I think this is the only card he really could play - one decisive strike at the right time.

The end result still is Ichigo unwilling to kill his turncoat friend. Though Ishida too is unwilling to kill ..................... his friends. I have to say that since the anime added all that Squad Zero stuff they had to solidify Ishida's drive as a character by having him actually kill Senjumaru which was a big deal, but now faced with his friends, he's unwilling to kill. Dude had a clear headshot for Yoruichi and he shoots her shoulder? He had a clear shot to blast Ichigo's head clean but shoots his shoulder (unaware of Ichigo's Blut protection). Then when he had Ichigo right where he wants him he ... shoots his side as if this was censored Bleach. No actual kill shot? Just one of those "I shot you to put you down so you can potentially survive because I've seen you take worse" shots. Yeah ok Ishida ... if I was on the Quincy side I'd be side eyeing Ishida so hard.

They didn't know they had to deal with a being that is omnipotent and has bodyguards that are technically gods in their own right. They wanted to help and were the only ones capable at the time to do it, while the captains and co were handling the other sternritters down below. Few points: - as mentioned before, this whole episode is anime exclusive only, the battle between ishida and ichigo, the gang and sternritters. Its the first time we also see ishida using his holy form aswell, although he didn't seem to use his letter's power. He did in past cour tho, but its very hard to notice and understand it. - sheera saying about the soul king listening; technically, he isn't, the body encased in the crystal is technically alive but its unable to think or perceive anything. Its just there as a linchpin, as urahara said before to aizen when he sealed him in the arrancar arc. Why he is in this state, with his limbs removed and other pieces of his body missing is something i hope they explain in this cour/next one. - ppl might hate ishida for what he's doing and might be cheesy that his surface level response is because he's a quincy, but the whole conflict between quincies and shinigamis goes way back in the past, not just since the 1000 year conflict. This i hope they explain more, because at the end of the day, its a given that this whole war right now was gonna happen. It started abit with ichigo being involved since the start, then the hollows and now quincies. All because of the soul system artificially created by the shinigamis where only they are at the top.

The whole Ichigo and Uryu fight didn't happned at all.. it was ALL anime original scens like 12 min of this ep was JUST anime original content like it's CRAZY. lol I'm so happy with everything that they did with this ep like if you compare it to the manga it's really night and day. PS: I know Chad, Ganju and Orihime can't do much but at least they did fight the Royal Guards because they would have just run away or something from them. I'm glad at least in the anime they did fight back and did something which was as well anime original content.

Ichigo is fighting what is agruably his best friend in a 1v1 to the death but is struggling to even say he's gonna kill the main baddie, Yoruchi got sneaked then atp its up to Chad and crew and they did solid against 4 bleach's strongest villains. Sometimes like in JJK season 2 Shibuya incident, these villains just got actually decent plans and its frustrating to watch so I 100% get it, but honestly you cant really blame Ichigo, or really anyone up there nor even Urahara for sending them up like if he hadn't sent them up right when he did Ichibei still would be dead possibly worse, soul king would have been absorbed, squad 0 clapped. Only real person to blame is Ichibei if he knew that the Karakura gang would lose like this and still sent them up.

Ever since he gained his true powers we have literally only seen him use around 20% of his full power. There is no one in Bleach that can survive a Getsuga from true shikai Ichigo, which is why Jujishou one-shot base Yhwach. The whole point of the fight was to demonstrate that Ichigo's mental state is rocked on account of being forced to almost cause the destruction of the 3 realms by cutting Reio, Yhwach's taunts about his mother, and Uryu's apparent betrayal. Ichigo has repeatedly expressed his lack of desire to kill, which is why he warned Candice to get out of the way of his Jugishou last season. Ichigo went out of his way to not hurt Uryu, especially given that he made his Jujishou misfire, which is why Uryu calls him naïve after the clash.

2024-10-28 21:55:11 +0000 UTCIn the manga, this was only 2 and a half chapters as the same pacing of a NewGen anime yet 12 mins as about half of it was a completely anime original fight of the built up, much anticipated & long-awaited Ichigo Vs Uryu which was off screened in the manga, we didn’t even believe that Uryu had truly convinced himself, let alone us, that he really betrayed everyone & joined up with his people, but after killing a Squad 0 member in the form of Senjumaru and now revealing his very own Vollständig/Voll Stern Dich + blasting aside hole through a conflicted Ichigo, it’s pretty much officially convinced that he’s on their side as a True Quincy, although the subtle foreshadowing even just threw him simply staring at Hashwalth (the Blonde Quincy as Yhwach’s right hand man) is another story yet to be told. Needless to say, they completely cooked with this adaptation 30/50+ EPs in so far and since it was just mostly an action packed episode, all I have left to say is the lyrics to the theme 🔥 “The Fire/1106 TYBW CH United” 🔥as the new Bleach national anthem which started playing as Ichigo and Uryu started to fight- “Everything's stayed but I'm not what I think i should be I woke up this morning and changes have come under me My physical me is not what I expected to see Perhaps its a dream or my mind's playing tricks upon me” “Now I see past me, and more, I suspect that something's wrong… GO TO HELL! If forever I must be… trapped inside what isn't me, GO TO HELL!” Previously used when Yamamoto Overcooked the Overkill Quincy in Ep 5 that killed his Lieutenant, then at the beginning of Ep 7 showing the original Gotei 13, then much later in Ep 16 when Soi Fon & Toshiro regained their Bankais getting there get back and lastly when Mayuri started fighting Giselle in Ep 22 being an MVP. For those that know if foreshadows what’s to come in the future.
