2024-10-08 21:03:02 +0000 UTCi liked the series. my one complaint is: yuri was not needed and is mad annoying. dont like the character or the actress. i think all the lessons and morals hit just fine. its not like nanno was driving the car that hit that dude's kid in season 1. she just sets up the chess board and then they play themselves........

Because Yuri mentioned more than once that she wanted her spot, Nanno fakes her death, leading Yuri to a false sense of security and take over since she believes the job is so easy. Eventually, she realizes it's not as simple as she thought. Because she created a monster in Junko who now appears everytime Yuri is dispensing justice/karma on someone and kills them.
