2024-11-13 05:45:25 +0000 UTCI always interrupted that conversation as he was on the "inside", like the in-crowd and had friends whereas Miyamura was on the "outside", a loner with no friends, outside and away from everyone else. The bully never understood what it was like being on the outside but he's realizing it probably feels more like being trapped in a physical inside in a small lonely suffocating space. He put Miyamura in that space by bullying him, and even deeper in that space by lying on him.

It's actually 13 eps a season not 12. Switch to s2 after ep 12 instead of watching ep 13; not after watching ep 11, as ep 13 is the ep to adapt the end of the manga😅.

2024-10-05 00:57:34 +0000 UTCMentioning this again and probably for the next few episodes going forward since I want to make sure it's seen (yes after this it's practically the exact same message as last EP; yes I saw one person also posted this week earlier asking, but the more comments about it the likelier it is to be seen). Plz after EP 12 of Horimiya go to S2 (EPs1-12) instead of watching EP 13. Ep 13 adapts the legitimate end of the manga, where as S2 takes place for the most part between EPs 11-13, minus the epilogue which is S2 Ep13. That's why it's called the "Horimiya: The Missing Pieces". A lot of other commenters now and I, feel it would be better for reaction content if the ending isn't shown before the second season, as it was only made that way due to uncertainty of continuation for a 2nd cour😅🥲

2024-10-05 00:49:15 +0000 UTCThe way I interpreted the stuff with the bully is that the guy probably had feelings for Miyamura, but he didn't know how to come to terms with them. So he started bullying him to get his attention. The feeling of being constrained could be an illustration of how he feels trapped and unsure of himself, "in the closet" so to speak. And at the end he accepts to just let go of whatever weird unresolved shit he had with Miyamura and just be normal friends. I don't think that's ever confirmed, but it makes sense to me.
