Alya Ep 11

Let the sibling war begin

Comments

Old Man Suou is an ass.

Coatl45

I haven't read the source materials or descriptions of them. This is a common enough phenomenon in real life and there are sufficient clues from what we've seen in the show of the MC and his mother's side of the family - including how his sister acts and is treated - to draw this inference. Your comment is the only thing spoiler-y here.

Sekraan

It has really good animation and character design, but the story of this show and character is so annoying

원 지

that's 1000% just a spoiler worded as an opinion that's extremely specific considering we have quite literally zero real reference of her, her personality, or backround story........how the fuck you know her thoughts when all we saw is that she kinda always just looks depressed and then in this episode got mad at her son for continuously practicing piano lol zero chance an anime only fan has that deep and specific of an opinion on a character whos quite literally been irrelevant in the story so far.....all the other manga or light novel readers liking the shit out of your comment cuz they also know what gets revealed later kinda gives it away too @ sekraan

PsilocybinJunky

Fair enough

TheMilkMan

Btw it wasn’t exactly drugging him they were giving him the right medicine but it was scummy either way the equivalent to what they were doing would be giving someone Niquil instead of DayQuil

Wild

Seems to be pretty clear, the grandpa from the mothers side, thinks of him as a failure so he simply doesn’t want the family to be “stained” by the “failure” so it seems that both of them have been forced to never mention it

Wild

I like Yuki, but damn, that was a scummy move.

Kyle Pacanowski

I think the reason he doesn't say Yuki is his sister is because the grandfather on the mothers side doesn't want him to be known as part of their family.

Dee

Is it really drugging if you were actually sick and needed the meds? lol

Wrëck

Agree with Sheera, I don't understand why Kuze is keeping Yuki's identity a secret. It's one thing to hide his knowledge of the Russian language but hiding that Yuki is your sister after she's caused so much misunderstandings is getting frustrating, the show better have a damn good explanation to why Kuze doesn't just say who Yuki is when he has had plenty of good times to bring it up.

TheMilkMan

Ain't no way Kuze and Alya just did an MCU type team up just to compete against his sister and her gremlin shenanigans 🤣

TheMilkMan

She’s got too much deniability plus it was actual cold medicine so idk how serious the police would be about getting drugged by Benadryl 😮‍💨

e10

i like your theory better Mr Sekraan

Travis James

If my sibling drugged me I’m telling the police wtf💀

Idk

It reads to me that she grew up in a family where approval and love was conditioned on high performance, and she was sad to see her son falling into the same pattern of behavior.

Sekraan

Idk why but what I thought was obviously the mom and dad were falling out and seeing her son just reminded her of the dad and she couldn't LOL. Probably not but I've seen way too much bs dramas where that's the plot

pmreez

In one of the earlier episodes when Masachika decided to go with his dad, the grandfather on their mother's side basically said to him not to share the fact that he's part of the Suou family

Devin B

that play was diabolical lol

Fuji

You guys he is not allowed to say that they are related

Jesus Leon

This whole not brother and sister thing doesn’t seem like something imposed by the siblings in my opinion. It seems the grandfather on the mother side is imposing this to punish Kuze and there might be consequences to Yuki if it is revealed. The grand father seems like the type did not want any bad publicity to get out about his family like having your grandson, disavow his family, and last name.

Cameron Robinson

That was actually kinda fucked lmao. Can't wait to see what they do in response
