2024-08-08 04:55:29 +0000 UTCLol that's funny, this is indeed not the first time Lupa thought the VA is Akira Ishida (Gaara's VA) when it's not.

2024-08-05 13:25:54 +0000 UTCDon't you need to keep watering plants?

2024-08-04 05:02:14 +0000 UTCThis is just a theory, but I think Wolfwood stopped the ship from accelerating by shutting off the engine while Vash asked the plant to help kill the ship's momentum.

2024-08-04 05:00:17 +0000 UTCRoshi said, "Okay so....... What the fuck?" and that is the most valid response to that episode.

2024-08-02 21:57:18 +0000 UTCVash talked to the plant and got it to deactivate the power to the ship so it would stop moving. Also, when the plant took that humanoid form it looked the same as the like dried up statue thing above Knives when we first saw him

2024-08-02 03:30:40 +0000 UTCSo you're not actually confused, those were frozen people not PLANTS because Knives wouldn't risk burning the PLANTS. He stated the PLANTS ship was still fine. (edited for clarification)

2024-08-02 02:06:28 +0000 UTCI think that Vash was in the engine room to 'deactivate" the PLANT. The PLANT is what powers the ship, so no PLANT no power

2024-08-02 01:39:08 +0000 UTCComrades!! Would love to share I got the chance to meet our esteemed streamers last week at dreamcon. I bought them all a shot of tequila after their elevator fiasco! Itβs not much but wanted to say I appreciate yall and the reactions are always fire! Hope you guys stay blessed!

2024-08-02 01:22:34 +0000 UTCYeah I think that was just on error on the animator's part.
Isaac
2024-08-02 01:06:55 +0000 UTCOh ok. Now I get it. On the arc at ep one, when Vash was running around saying good morning, naming names, I thought he was talking to cryogenically frozen people. Looks like he was on a ship full of PLANTS and he was speaking to them. Now I get it.

2024-08-02 01:06:07 +0000 UTCSo I notied something β on the cannon initialization screen the reading went from 43% to 44%, but then they did a close-up shot of Meryl where it was back down to 43%. Does anyone know if that was an animation mistake or was the counter just unstable (even though it didnβt seem to be)?

2024-08-01 23:29:15 +0000 UTCThe voice actor for Bluesummers is the voice actor for Shigaraki from MHA, Sugishita from Wind Breaker, and Inumaki from JJK. Also, the voice actor for Wolfwood voiced Kunakida in BSD and Reiner in AoT. Fire voice acting all the way around.

2024-08-01 23:21:24 +0000 UTCI underestimated this show, it's way better than i've anticipated After ep 6 I went on and watched the entire season And now i'm so hyped by the announcement for season 2

2024-08-01 23:16:59 +0000 UTCDefinitely not, tho I felt the biblical path wouldve suited stampede more considering. Everything about this series being tied to the bible. So far in most of the Stampede episodes it's alluded to religion, the church, Angels, and God. Having the Plants look more stereotypical as Angels wouldve been nice, but i DO appreciate the alien-esque designs because it makes them seem more. Monsterous? i guess? Despite Plants not really being evil.

2024-08-01 23:14:41 +0000 UTCWill say the more biblical theme route definitely made things look more eldritch horror like and scary. But the Sci fi route of unknown alien species with these mysterious powers that go beyond human understanding isn't a bad path.

2024-08-01 23:10:21 +0000 UTCBoth the plant and the engine panel needed to be halted to stop the ship

2024-08-01 22:52:47 +0000 UTCCool fun fact, that really shows off the difference between Plants in Stampede vs the Manga! In the manga, the Plants are very angelic in appearance. They look vaguely more human, but they have feathers and many wings, making them look like angels. It ties to the Biblical themes that Trigun itself tries to tell of humanity's battle against a godly power that isn't always kind and helpful to them. Meanwhile, here in Stampede, as they've taken more of a scifi route: the Plants look more unearthly. Alien. Something that has human features but looks completely wrong. The glowing markings and long fingers, everything about these Plants look strange. Episodes 8 and 9 personally are not really my favorite episodes, as I feel the fast pacing of Stampede really shows, and motivations are a bit weird. However, Excited to see episodes 10-12!

2024-08-01 22:51:55 +0000 UTCThe anime took it a bit PG it seems, since in the mango that dragonfly or w/e you call it came out of the coochie, not the mouth π Also AFAIK the crank thingie is prolly brakes or w/e (hence why it was so heated to shit, since the nigga in the car broke some type of axle or w/e that pipe thingie was), and Vash went for the PLANT since a metal piece of shit that size needs to be powered to move whatsoever, so once the PLANT stops feeding the tech the power, it halts that shit to a crawl to sheer inertia on flat surface (i.e no downward sloping to slowly slide down w/ gravity alone), especially w/ the brake mechanism (from the hardware side of the sandsteamer itself) on rn
