I just went back to reread the manga cause I saw a lot of diff people saying diff things and I honestly didn’t remember 😂 No bakugo deadass was about to blow himself up but was cut short when Shigaraki punched his chest which triggered the explosion that Bakugo was preparing. So Bakugo was going to cause a big explosion accumulating sweat balls at his heart but as we all know, if u hit explosives too hard then you could trigger them. So basically his heart blew up because of the piled up sweat ready to explode and the punch which caused it to trigger early. Which explains the black explosion marks all over Shigaraki’s face, chest and shoulder area. Damn if Bakugo would have pulled up that massive explosion it could have done some big damage in shigaraki. It also explains why bakugo had no hole in his back either cause if he was stabbed it would have gone through him. Also explains why everyone got blown away, including mirio. Mirio can choose certain parts of his body to become passable but since it was an explosion that nobody saw coming and he only had certain body that can go through things(u see it in the image before the explosion, he was going through some of Shigaraki’s fingers through some areas of his body) then even mirio got blown away from the blast.

This universe has shown so much potential in terms of its power system, so they’ll definitely find some way of bringing Bakugo back to life, even if it seems like an asspull at first. Something very similar happened in Naruto Shippuden, where Sasuke was revived outta nowhere. He’ll come back, but I don’t think it’ll be this season though. I think him being dead for now will be very important for Deku when he finally gets to UA.

I think the main complaint is that no one truly "important" or central to the plot dies. Like we only knew Crust from the updated hero standings and before the attack, nothing regarding who he was. In addition, Nighteye we only knew for like a season, Midnight was really like the closest person to die from the main cast.

Like I'm pretty damn sure it's a lingering vestige still within him from the movie, otherwise why show it like THAT. They could have just made it All Might in his prime muscle form but instead they depict him as a vestige ghoul. Also I rewatched the previous seasons and I noticed Bakugo has done this before. It was when he shoved Deku out the way and got stabbed up. He moved so fast that it left sparkle explosions behind. Bakugo hit his quirk evolution fully now.

Sorta kinda Its like the idea that even if someone's quirk is taken away their natural human functions still happen. Hair, nails, and body still grow. I think what we have to remember is that All Might's vestige symbolizes his death and eventual full integration into One for All. The reason why it's incomplete is because All Might I'd still alive. Bakugo interacting with the vestige means he's basically talking to the dead part of All Might. I could be wrong but that was my interpretation of why he sees the vestige.

I don't want to know if I'm right, but my Theory is that Bakugo is probably a descendant of the second wielder of OFA (the one with the X on his face). This is because of Shigaraki's déjà vu fighting the second wielder and his visual similarity. AFO fought the second wielder, not Shigaraki so it could just be that Bakugo reminds him of an inherited memory. Sorta like in Demon Slayer where Daki was afraid of Tanjiro despite never having fought him due to Muzan's experience with Yorichi.
