dont know why yall thought kisoo had powers. he would have used them when ganghoon was kicking his ass or in retaliation. he knows folks at the school have powers via common sense and observation not because he has powers too. ganghoon revealed himself and gets "special treatment" in his eyes, plus him being tested and what he over heard after the fact. the rest was snooping (and sleuthing) and deduction.

transferred to a different school so not in the show. but if there is a season 2: maybe. because you wouldnt notice time being stopped, ilhwan just thought the kid had no powers and he wanted it that way. i think his name was younggak. since he wanted to transfer he didnt use his powers in a way to prove he has them (stop time then move to a different location).

just finished watching this series with u guys (never watched it before) and omg; this show is top-tier like you said. i don't think any other kdrama show can beat this in terms of action. truly a 10/10 show. you guys should check out the 8 show on netflix too; either on your own time or by reacting to it. thanks for the reaction and for introducing this show to me!

I'm not a scientist but isnt that a myth/untrue generalization, the brain is aware of the eyes, the eyes are just immune pillaged so your immune system doesnt go so hard on it and make them inflamed so you can't see out of them, I remember reading something in passing but I could be super wrong lol

Oh shit. So the new boss was the dude catching the bodies in the flashback with Bungseoks mom. I had no idea the “important” chick who y’all thought was Naju’s daughter was the rich chick who got bullied. Very random to me imo but alas. The one thing I REALLY didn’t like is how we didn’t get a Bungseok and Huisoo scene at the end. No link up or relationship build up or nothing. Kinda felt like a waste to me. Ik they showed her see him on tv but you build up this relationship basically the whole show, you gotta let the people see the pay off but 🤷🏽‍♂️

I vastly prefer it tbh. Modern TV — Western TV especially — suffers from a lack of episodes and that why characters and plots always seem to have no or rushed believable development. Things need time to breathe. The only thing I will say is that because K-dramas rarely have second seasons, things might seem dragged out. I don’t think the standard should be to give them less episodes; I think it should be to give them more seasons or more subplots lol. (If necessary! Not every show needs multiple seasons either.)

1. That was not Naju’s daughter that was the girl that Jisoo stood up for who was being bullied at her old school 2. It was Lizard man who was killed, it shows Jisoo’s dad leaving the hotel, he killed lizard man after everything was over because he was the reason this whole thing happened since he was able to track all the kids and parents who tried to flee

I don't know about that all the times he got shot and hurt meat and other things would be coming out of him guy would have lost mass then what just healing faster and better then normal people , you can't really do what he does without enhanced form of regeneration, in realty the creators just thought itd be neat to have a bullet in the eye shot, but if you got to make it make sense somehow and the only rule they really gave him was he has to take things out or itll scar its might be possible his eye grew back but his body just now recognizes what his eye was cause he didnt take it out in time so it grew back as this scared thing so he just wears a eyepatch sense its sightless, , otherwise why would taking it out fast or itll scar matter just cut it again and let it heal right it doesn't really matter but it's fun to think about lol

The way I see it he has healing but not regeneration. It’s pretty difficult if not impossible to remove a bullet from an eye and leave the eye intact enough to heal anyway, so he can’t do his usual “dig it out before it scars” thing. Which brings me to Huisoo — I don’t think she necessarily kept her bullet in for sentimental value like her dad, I just think she a) didn’t know about the taking it out part and b) didn’t have anything to take it out with in time regardless lmao. It’s just a fun parallel/coincidence.

That was not Naju's daughter, she is the bullied girl from Huisoo's old high school. A higher up one more than Director Min. Her superpower is that she doesn't get old. She was undercover and purposely got bullied so Heesoo would save her, get expelled and transfer to Jeongwan Highschool. It was all a plan. Huisoo's father (Juwon) killed lizzard man. Huisoo's father warned that sniffing dude to not show his face again or he'll kill him the next time he sees him.

Said a few times already, but just to summarize: • Naju did in fact fake her daughter (Seeun)’s death, but that wasn’t the girl you saw. It’s the same actress both times; we saw Seeun at the funeral in Ep. 5 and then had Ilhwan’s flashback in Ep. 16 (?) that actually revealed who she was. • I’m pretty sure Kisoo’s only role is to show the effect of this whole thing on normal kids who got caught up in the mess. They THOUGHT he had an ability, but he was just trying to do a legitimate PE major as an athlete — and then he got permanently injured and resented everyone because of it, especially Ganghoon. If anything they could make him an extremely late bloomer in a possible S2, but I doubt that’s his purpose. Personally I think it’s nice to have a character or two with little to no plot significance…that’s just how it be sometimes irl • Juwon killed Raehyuk, the lizard man principal, exactly like he promised :)

naju’s daughter’s death was staged because they showed her at naju’s funeral, but the girl with the bob isn’t her, it’s the girl who used to get bullied and then transferred schools! also, the assistant lady at the end is minhyun’s former boss :) it’s not common for kdramas to get a second season, most of the time they’re filmed as a solo project but moving did end in a way that would lead to s2 and i think the manhwa artist said he’s working on moving the story forward so that’s cool! glad you both enjoyed it and i can’t wait for that girl from nowhere reaction!

The assistant chick is too old to be naju's daughter and the other girl is the girl that was being bullied at huisoo's backstory. FyI the guy who got reinstated as the new head of NIS is the same guy from Lee Mi Hyun's back story (Bong Seok's mom) who mercilesly killed the north koreans, he is also the guy who lead the team of the now dead super blackops team to catch Kim Doo Shik intally.

So the guy who got packed up in the hotel was actually the "lizard" guy. If you got back to that scene, right before you can see Juwan exiting the building and wiping his hands. If you remember, Juwan said if he ever saw him again he would kill him and after getting the files he realized that he was behind all of this as the principal. Also, not sure if you noticed, but the guy that replaced the South Korean NIS head was the guy who was leading the mission to smoke out the double agents. He was shown to be very eccentric and over the top with how he handled that mission. Min's warning to Doosik was probably because he knew that his ways were tame compared to other people within NIS.

I can finally answer this question from way back — to Sheera’s point about why Hyewon’s (the girl at the end) parents didn’t stop her from getting bullied if she’s so rich… “Hyewon” is a grown ass woman with the ability to not age. 😭 She’s superior in rank to and straight up older than some of the other government officials, and they even address her as such with formal language. She was a mole the entire time, presumably to keep an eye on Huisoo.

Also that girl wasn't naju's daughter, that was Huisoo's friend that got bullied at their old school since she was the rich girl. Since her family is rich i'm guessing that's why she's in the position she's in, and since she's involved that's probably why she transfered to the school with super powered kids. Also lizard man was the guy who was killed. Juwon decided to kill him cause of everything he did in the past and cause of his ability. As a side note, that old man watching the TV was the old watch guard from the first NIS building, and his buddies didn't believe him when he said he worked for a spy agency with super powered humans. That entire ending stretch was just the story writers covering up all the loose ends.

half the show turned into flashback origin stories after the mid point, which were entertaining, but distracted from the main plot. I agree.

I genuinely think too many kdramas have a far too many episodes. the 16 episode ones could cut down 3-4 episodes and this one could have cut down a lot on the flashbacks - they could've still had them - but shortened them up a lot.

Sucked for Huisoo that she got run over by Baek Hee Sung in the next KDrama she did

i think juvenile justice would be a good watch , i was in shock with the eps and some were based on true cases

Really hope to see season 2! This was a fun show, although not perfect, really took me by surprise how much I liked it.

Maybe the eye didn't grow back because the bullet was in it too long and his healing factor just went fuck it this piece is gone and basically threw the whole eye away cause that bullet had to be damaging nerves also

Kisoos characters reason for existence was to show that he was gifted for a regular human being without powers so much so that the temporary teacher tested him and ruined his leg in the process. He wanted to expose all of that and that’s why he was looking for the files

Remember Huisoo’s dad told lizard man during the war scene that if he ever saw him again, he would kill him. He saw him again. He murked his ass 🤣 Also, I think the youtube girl was just there to help redeem bully boy’s character.

The lizardman was killed by Juwon. You can see him leaving with his motorcycle after killing. He basically got his revenge for killing his wife

Ep 1 to 12 was serious last 8 eps were weak for me personally

the actress who plays Bong-seok's mom said on a inteview that the script for season 2 is currently being written. So hopefully we get season 2 by the end of next year.

The girl you called Naju's daughter, is actually the girl Huisoo saved from Bullying

Also we saw Naju's daughter at Naju's funeral, she was the girl that the camera panned too when Frank left. Naju faked her daughters death cause she knew the NIS would never stop hunting her/watching over her. Think she just fully went off the grid.

That girl was the one that was getting bullied at Huisoo’s old school.

I think juwon's ability is more so enhancement of the body's natural healing process. So things that won't naturally grow back like limbs or eyes, won't get regenerated by his ability from scratch.
