There will never be a day where he truly deserves his family's forgiveness, so he can't give up trying to make things right. So, he was using all his focus just to track everyone's movements and keep himself alive, let alone responding to the heat he couldn't block. It's also why I think the Quirk he uses the most to defend is Air Shield, to mitigate both heat and breathing issues at once. lol

No harm in being careful, but I sometimes think manga readers overestimate what will spoil an anime only fan. If I remember correctly, Roshi never watched the Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village opening because they were told to skip it at the beginning, so I'll be curious to see if they ever watch this opening.
