So, when you think of it that way, AFO and MUZAN would naturally want to continue "forever" because anything else is confronting a fear, their own mortality and their ego. Death is their greatest fear, so they do literally anything to avoid it. I suspect that's why AFO hates All Might so much, cause All Might nearly packed him up - even when he was in his prime.

He was hoping that her ice powers would cancel out the heat fatigue issue. That didn't happen until Todoroki, all of the other children either didn't show enough promise or didn't have the necessary power.

And shoto is resistant to ice but he can still freeze and so i assume shoto was trying to do what happens to him to touya. So not an attack to actually physically hurt him but i think just getting punched in the gut by an ice/fire punch knocked his ass out. But i definitely see where youre coming from and u still might be cooking ngl.

That being said, when her jack got blown off, I was so upset. Seeing it here in the anime this episode upset me all over again, but the fact that the very last scene of the episode focused on her left jack (the one that got blown off) was so disrespectful. 😭
