2024-06-28 08:50:39 +0000 UTCI love how juwon and Jihee's relationship was built and developed in these flashbacks. It feels very grounded and believable. I bought into it and was hooked. The ending to this ep was pure pain. In my head, upon losing his wife, Juwon's grief made him wail for so long he blew his vocal chords out and would start again after they healed. He would repeat this cycle until the funeral services began.

2024-06-28 04:52:58 +0000 UTCJust to piggyback, the episode starts off with Juwan on the couch by the coffee machine which is the indication to the audience that they went back to that point to show what happened to Juwan after that point. Also, the show never really specifies an exact time when Bong-seok was born. It just lets you know that it was about 6 months after the events when Doo-shik met back up Mi-hyun and some time after that Bong-seok was born, so there is no disparity in the writing.

2024-06-28 01:37:49 +0000 UTCI haven’t finished the episode so I’m not sure if you answered your own question yet, but they’re parallel timelines lol. 12 and 13 happen mostly simultaneously, just from different character and family perspectives. Edit: Yeah, Sheera’s right. 😂 All of the timeskips are roughly equal for both families — so you can assume Bongseok and Huisoo were born around the same time, and Mihyun is on the run with Bongseok at the same time Juwon is on the run with Huisoo (which hasn’t happened yet in the past timeline, but we know they cross paths in that one shot).

2024-06-27 22:53:59 +0000 UTCi only noticed this rewatching this show with you guys but in a few episodes they've shown a sign near bongseok's house that says a subway line is under construction and if you pay attention there is never any construction going on but there's always a few cars so my theory is that mr. snake found minhyun and bongseok again and they're under surveillance in case doosik comes back or something but yeah this episode was incredibly sad
