Once they are dead, sure, if they somehow didn't have distinguishing marks or variations that people recognized, and they came across them already dead or something.

But Aemond is right there, and he was the only one there when Aegon tried to bounce back in season 1. Now, I'm not saying Aemond would have been better as king, but unlike his older brother, his fury is more tempered and coordinated (the toast during the supper scene last season is a great example of that). The problem with Aegon as a puppet/pawn is honestly the same as Philip from Overlord IV. Yes, they're both idiots that are easy to manipulate, but they're also cocky idiots with an overinflated sense of ego, confidence. A tool such as that can't be relied upon to fall in line and/or follow any plan you laid out (no matter how careful or brilliant) without constant supervision. They'll almost always try to do something of their own accord because they have it in their thick, empty skulls that they can do it better to prove themselves (i.e. "show off").

To me Aemond seemed like he just wanted to be left alone but they kept attacking him and he did justifiably hate them for treating him like shit, so he wanted to threaten them with the rock, not cause any real harm.. but they stab his eye out and none of them get punished. So again that event, along with being bullied for so long, added to Aemond having this Darkness around him, but even then what does he do? Ask the kid who poked his eye out to poke out his own eye to be even. Like people blame him for killing the kid when it was the kid's Dragon that went out of control and attacked Aemond's Dragon, so Vhagar immediately destroyed the tiny Dragon in response, but unfortunately the kid riding on it died with it. I can see that Aemond looks intimidating.. but the fact is that he has received a lot more pain/suffering than he has intentionally caused, Aemond was bullied all his life and he finally became a badass with a huge dragon and people hate him for it, lol. I just don't think he deserves all that hate, at least not from what he has done so far, because it was not intentional, lol.

To be fair, Otto was trying to push for Aegon long before Daemon returned and married Rhaenyra who was married to Laenor before him. Until being constantly opposed by the greens (and wanting to have a sex life and true-born children) drove her to fake Laenor's death and marry Daemon. "I cannot face the greens alone." My take, which could be misinformed, has been that if the council had let Rhaenyra and Laenor ascend the throne without all the fuss, Daemon would still be having his countryside adventures and everything would more or less be better than they are right now.

We could tell but it was confirmed that no one knew which was which ( just like in the books) of who was erryk and who was arryk until erryk then committed suicide in front of Rhaenyra. If you notice the tapestry that Helena gave to Allison for her son's funeral, it's the same one she was making last episode when she talked about her vision of rats in their midst. She subconsciously knew that she needed to make something for her son's funeral, but she didn't know why, when, or how it would happen. She must have been making it for months. Her prophetic dreams truly seem like a curse, I felt so much for her character this episode. She deserves to just fly away on her dragon and leave this whole world behind.

The Greens are kind of tragic to me. Allicent wanted to confide in some pain she's been in over her actions to Otto, but he promptly rejected her that kind of closeness. Allicent then witness Aegon in pieces over his son, and whether due to her disgust of him or her still hurting at being rebuffed by Otto, she is incapable of giving him comfort. Allicent then lashes out at Christen as if releasing her pent up anger at it all, hating he can presume to invite himself into her chambers, hating that she has allowed it. Until she gives in as if surrendering herself to her desires - smothering her truest feelings away with more sin. That's at least how I interpreted the final couple of minutes. No one can ever convince me that Allicent isn't the most sympathetic character in this show.

Regarding the scene with Aegon and Helaena, I don’t think this scene showed Aegon blaming her. He grieves in his own way and I think he even wanted to comfort her, but he doesn’t have the tools to do so. Alicent never comforted him, which we see at the end of the episode, so he never learned how to do it.
