I can't say what will or won't happen with them because the story isn't over yet but we do know they've been sheltering civilians. Why would you assume they haven't sent out any 2nd or 3rd years from UA tho? The only ones we've been properly introduced to (if I'm not mistaken) were the Big 3 and we've seen 2 of them on the battlefield so far, with the exception of Mirio. They'll probably have him make a "grand" entrance like last time but I'm pretty sure their whole class, however many, are fighting too. You think ALL of these people fighting are just from Class 1A?

They were all on evacuation/first aid/cleanup duty til they found out Shigaraki was coming after Deku. Between that, the huge decay wave Shigaraki sent out, AND Gigantomachia on the move, they were forced to fight. And the only reason they're on the front lines now is because mad niggas got murked, injured, or quit/retired from being a hero because of the last big battle. They don't have a choice this time around.

It’s great but 1 I’d much rather see all might and midoriya 2 I’d much rather bakugo & midoriya 3 I’d much rather see all might and one for all. The todoroki stuff comes 4th place for me even though it’s great in and of its own right 5th place for me is class 1a/ the leagues relationship w one another. I love this arc but to say it’s the best in this whole show is NOT a fact for me
